Yep. I don’t dislike people based on their beliefs, I just hate extremes. A snobby, holier-than-thou religious zealot who proselytizes at every turn and a smug atheist who bursts into a condescending “magical sky daddy” monologue at the slightest mention of anything spiritual are the same brand of utterly obnoxious.

they are all morons, and should be hated like the morons they are.
Being intolerant towards theists is good.

I think this is pretty obviously true of *all* activists. Even ‘non-relgious’ ones who seem rather religious about their moral beliefs.

I just hate when a religious person sees restrictions in *their* religion as needing to apply to me. Please, by all means, live according to the rules of your religion. Just stop trying to make those rules the law that we all have to follow.

I always hate when religious people go: “Oh my god, I wish I could do this but my religion says no”. Buddy you are a full grown adult, you can literally make your own decisions and if are choosing to stay religious, then don’t cry about the restrictions

Replace religious with the words non binary or lgbt and you have the same result

make it a part of your identity, not your entire identity, it is one of the most important aspects of your identity, but still, don’t make it your entire identity.

What if I’m super into my religion, but I’m chill about people not participating?

To be fair, if I thought that my god would punish me with endless torture if I didn’t follow their exact law I’d probably make it my whole purpose.

If it’s a personal relationship with your deity, why make it public?

My grandma is a special case that i wish more people could be like. She is super religious, posts about it all the time, we pray before every meal at her house, and invites me to church even though i live 45 mins away and is visibly disappointed every time i decline. However, she has never once been disrespectful or has said i’ll go to hell or anything, i have a transgender cousin that she talks to, respects his pronouns, and loves as equally as the rest of us. She is never ever hateful or disrespectful to anybody and goes out of her way to do the smallest things for anybody, ive seen her hand a 50 to a homeless guy.
